Description
From the end of the Civil War to the end of the 19th Century, the most popular and practical holster was the Mexican Loop Holster and straight cut gun belt.
Sometimes called a double loop holster. The guns’ hammer was generally about even with the top of the cartridge belt, which was strapped on just below the trouser belt. Authentic Mexican Loop holsters are cut from one piece of leather from worn saddle fenders folded over and down vertically, behind itself, which created a neatly designed pocket for the gun. The design is suspected to have come from northern Mexico or the American Southwest.
BuckhousePattern, EcoFlo Tan dye, Cream Ritza thread, Resolene
